Our Fees
Fees at Northcote Medical
Northcote Medical is a private GP clinic. We welcome all patients to make an appointment with us at any time.
A booking with one of our doctors for a standard appointment will incur an out-of-pocket fee.
Fees are the same for in-person or telehealth consultations.
Bulk billing at Northcote Medical only applies to the following groups
- If you are a current patient with us on a pensioner card and have previously been bulk billed, you will continue to be bulk billed for your appointments between 9am – 3pm, Monday – Friday. Appointments outside of this time will incur a small fee. If you are a new patient, please see our fee table below.
- Appointments for children receiving any of their scheduled immunisations under the National Immunisation Program and Victorian immunisation programs.
Our Doctors and staff work exceptionally hard to provide the best level of care that we can to each and every one of our patients. We are always thankful that you choose us to be a part of your health and wellness team.
To ensure we continue to provide the level of care that you expect from all of us at Northcote Medical, from 1 July 2023 we will have a small fee increase for appointments. The out of pocket fee for your appointment will be $55 on weekdays and $70 on Saturdays.

Appointments
Every effort will be made to accommodate your preferred time and GP. Emergencies will always be given priority and our reception staff will attempt to contact you if there is any unforeseen delay or your GP has been called away. Longer consultation times are available, so please ask our receptionists if you require some extra time. All appointments made between 8.00 – 9.00am and 3.00 and 6.00pm Monday-Friday will attract a $55 gap fee. This fee applies to ALL patients requiring appointments within these times.
ONLINE APPOINTMENTS:
For patients who prefer the convenience of making appointments online, you can find our practice at www.northcotedoc.com.au or via your HotDoc app.
Walk-in patients will be accommodated pending availability.

Home and Other Visits
Home visits are available for regular patients of this practice whose condition prevents them from attending the surgery. At times a home visit may be neither safe or reasonable. In these circumstances, alternative arrangements will be made. These may include: patient attendance at our or another health care facility during office hours or a multi-party appointment arrangement made.
