Dr Roisin Mattinson is a GP with a special interest in all aspects of women’s health including Shared Maternity Care. She is passionate about assisting women in their pregnancy journey from preconception counselling, pregnancy care and postnatally.
After working throughout the northern and western suburbs of Melbourne, Dr Roisin is now welcoming new patients at Northcote Medical.
If you’re seeking a doctor for your cervical screening tests, to discuss your contraception questions, IUD removals, implanon insertion or removals, sexual health in general or menopause symptoms, Dr Roisin Mattinson has completed her Certificate of Women’s Health (RANZCOG) on top of her Doctor of Medicine from Melbourne University.
Dr Roisin also sees many children and encourages all parents and carers to make an appointment if there is anything at all you’re not sure about. She understands how difficult it can be when your little ones are unwell, as she has two of her own that keep her busy!
In addition to Women’s Health and Paediatric Care, Dr Roisin focuses on both Preventative Medicine and Chronic Disease management to help assist every patient live as well as possible. Roisin is also now a HIV S100 Accredited Prescriber and welcomes patients who need access to these medications.
If you google Dr Roisin, you’ll most likely see images of her days playing basketball for SEABL – the South East Australian Basketball League, but these days she’s also a regular cook, trying out new recipes with her thermomix, and spending time with her family.
