A 1979 Melbourne University Graduate with Honours, who has worked in General Practice since 1982. He established the Practice, now known as Northcote Medical, in 1982. Dr. Hemley is interested in all aspects of General Practice and has particular specialised knowledge in Infectious Diseases, Travel Medicine Cardiovascular Disease, Men’s Health and Homelessness. He is a past President of the Australian Medical Association (AMA) of Victoria, being conferred as a fellow of the AMA in 2005. He was also conferred as a member of the Order of Australia (AM) for over 30 years of service to the Homeless of Melbourne.
Also a Graduate of Melbourne University’s School of Medicine and holding a Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology Dr Todaro is particularly devoted to women’s and children’s well being. She is well skilled in the areas of PAP smears, contraception, including the oral contraceptive pill, Implanon insertion, Depo-ralovera contraceptive injections and Mirena removals. She is also experienced in the area of removal of skin lesions. She is a shared Antenatal Care Practitioner with all the major maternal hospitals and is well qualified in the areas of post-natal care and paediatrics.
A graduate of the University of Sydney (1979) with Honours, Dr Anderson joined the practice in July 2012 after almost 30 years in general practice in Kensington. Dr Anderson’s particular interest are women’s and children’s health and psychological wellbeing. She has a special expertise in the care of immigrants from the Horn of Africa (Somalia, Ethiopia and Eritrea).
Graduated medicine in 1986 at Monash University. Over the years, he has developed an interest in the health issues faced by adolescents, as well as an appreciation of the impacts of social, cultural and behavioural factors on the health outcomes of each and every one of us. He comprehends health and illness through this perspective with a view to not only managing illness but promoting health and well-being. He obtains a Masters Degree of Public Health and is a Fellow of the Australasian Faculty of Public Health Medicine.
A graduate from The University of Melbourne, Tom also holds a Bachelor of Pharmacy from Monash University prior to his medical studies. He is interested in all aspects of General Practice, in particular preventative medicine, aged care, mental health and infectious diseases including sexual health. Tom speaks fluent Cantonese and conversational Mandarin.
A graduate of University of Tasmania, Dr Patrick Davoren has worked all around Australia before settling down in Melbourne. He holds a diploma in child health and enjoys all aspects of general practice, in particular travel medicine and young adult well-being. In his free time, he enjoys clubbies footy, outdoor adventure sports and travelling.
